For all locations other than Paisano’s:
Credit cards can be used online to purchase your tickets. Tickets are CASH ONLY at the door. You can use your credit card inside the venue for food and drinks.
Do you offer discounts or special deals?
Occasionally, we will pop specials up on social media or in our weekly newsletter. So, join our email list and follow us. You never know!
Any ticket deals or specials (i.e. 2 for $XX, etc.) are available online only.
How much are tickets?
Every venue and show is different. We try to keep our shows as affordable as possible, but it really depends on the headliner of that show. Every comic charges us a different price, each venue has a different amount of seats, etc., so we have to set our ticket prices accordingly. Check www.jjcomedy.com for the specific show(s) you’re interested in.
Can you make accommodations for service animals or disabled persons (i.e. in a wheelchair)?
We will always do what we can to help out those in need. Please call 866.552.6633 x1 to inquire.
How does seating work?
Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
How long are your shows?
Typically, we keep our shows to 90 minutes. It may run a little longer depending on the performer(s), but 90 minutes is what we shoot for.
How many comedians perform on your shows?
Typically we book 3 comics for a show; a host, a middle act and a closer/headliner. But there are those occasions when a special guest may drop in and do a couple minutes. Ya never know who might pop in to the Comedy Shoppe!
Do you produce fundraisers, private events and or corporate events?
Yes, we do. We can produce them at our venue (if available) or if you have another venue in mind, we have totally portable set ups that will make you feel like you’re in a comedy club anywhere you want us. Call for more info 866.552.6633×1
Will you ever have _____________ (this specific comedian who fills huge rooms, arenas, stadiums, etc.) at one of your venues?
You never know. We try to get everyone to come through the Comedy Shoppe doors. It’s all up to them. Find them on social media and tell them you want to see them at whichever location. If enough people tell them, they may take the hint and make it happen!
Do I need to print out my tickets and bring them with me?
No, everyone who purchases tickets online is added to our “door list.” You CAN bring them but you don’t have to.

When are your shows?
Our shows at the Newtown Theatre are typically on the first Saturday of the month but occasionally have to hold them on other nights due to the Theatre’s schedule. Always check www.jjcomedy.com for up to date info.

Times vary by show/artist. Always check www.jjcomedy.com for up to date info.
Do you serve food and or alcohol?
The theatre only offers typical movie theatre fare – Popcorn, candy, soda, water, etc.
However, you are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages in with you. We just ask you to keep it to a respectable amount. No coolers – please drink responsibly.
Is there a minimum?
No, you don’t have to make any additional purchases from the theatre’s snack bar, but we hope you would patronize the theatre and help them keep this wonderful venue running.
Is there a minimum age to get in to the club?
Typically, unless it’s a “Family Friendly” show, the youngest we’ll allow in the venue is 18 with a parent or legal guardian. Please call to 866.552.6633 x1 confirm.
What is your refund policy?
Like most live, ticketed events, there are no refunds. If it’s a REALLY crazy situation, give us a call – we might have a heart and make an exception.

When are your shows?
Our shows at Paisano’s are on the last Thursday of the month, January – October and the night before Thanksgiving every November. We do not have shows in December at Paisano’s due to our heavy Christmas Party schedule. Always check www.jjcomedy.com for up to date info.
What time to your shows start?
Paisano’s shows typically start between 8:00 PM & 8:30. We like to get everyone fed before we start the performance. Always check www.jjcomedy.com for up to date info.
Do you serve food and or alcohol?
Yes, there is a full menu. Rutherford is a dry town so there is no alcohol served by the restaurant, but you can BYO.
Is there a minimum?
No, you don’t have to make any additional purchases from Paisano’s menu, but we hope you would enjoy a meal and help keep this wonderful venue running.
